How does the private chef experience work?

A private chef prepares a personalized meal in your home, villa, or private venue. We take care of menu planning, ingredient sourcing, cooking on-site, serving the food, and cleaning up afterward, so you can enjoy restaurant-quality dining without leaving your space.

We offer several private chef services in Lisbon, including family-style feasts, romantic dinners for two, corporate and retreat dining, villa and holiday meals, and small private event catering. Each service is tailored to the occasion, guest count, and atmosphere you’re looking to create.

Our cooking is rooted in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, with a strong focus on seasonal vegetables, fresh seafood, and vibrant shared dishes. We also offer select regional menus, such as Italian, Persian, or Portuguese-inspired evenings, planned in advance and tailored to the group.

Yes. We regularly cook for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergy-sensitive diets. Dietary needs are discussed in advance so the menu can be adapted without compromising flavor or experience.

Pricing depends on the number of guests, menu style, and level of service. After learning more about your plans, we provide a clear, all-inclusive quote covering planning, shopping, cooking, service, and clean-up.

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance, especially for weekends, holidays, or events in Cascais or Sintra. We always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible.

Do you cook in my kitchen or bring prepared food?

We primarily cook in your kitchen to ensure freshness and timing. Before the event, we confirm the available equipment and plan the menu accordingly. When needed, some preparation may be done in advance or essential equipment brought along.

Yes. Clean-up is always included. We leave the kitchen and work areas tidy so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your evening.

We specialize in intimate gatherings and small to mid-sized groups. The ideal guest count depends on the menu style, service format, and kitchen setup, which we review together during planning.

Yes. We often cook for families and can adapt menus for children while keeping the meal enjoyable for adults. Family-style dining is especially popular for relaxed gatherings with kids.

Most clients prefer to use their own tableware and linens. However, essentials can be brought on request, and we’re happy to assist with table styling. For special occasions, we can collaborate with local florists or rental companies.

We serve Lisbon, Cascais, and Sintra, including private homes, villas, holiday rentals, and retreat spaces in all surrounding areas. For locations outside these areas, service may be possible with advance planning.
