about
Private Chef in Lisbon - a personal journey
through food passion, and purpose.
i cook like i mean it.
Seasonal, colorful food that brings everyone to the table.
I blend, prep, and plate right here in Ericeira, Portugal, a sunny surf town full of markets, good bread and better company. My kitchen is cozy but bold, just like the food I love to make.
I’m not here for tiny bites and perfect plating. I’m here to feed people. Whether it’s a mezze spread, a BBQ dinner, or a feast for twelve, I cook with color, heart, and spice. Every dish is made from scratch, built around what’s fresh and in season.
From the piano to the kitchen
I wasn’t always a chef.
For years, I lived and breathed classical piano; performing, teaching, and practicing for hours a day. But somewhere between rehearsals and toddler dinners, I discovered a new rhythm in the kitchen. Food became my way to improvise, to share, to create.
Fresh Ingredients. Real Flavor.
happy people.
I believe food is connection between people, places, and the moments we share.
Cooking, to me, is about presence. It’s about listening to what the season brings and letting honest ingredients speak for themselves. I don’t chase trends or overcomplicate food. I focus on what feels right, what’s ripe, and what brings people together.
Whether it’s a villa dinner in Cascais, a casual mezze table in Lisbon, or a relaxed seaside lunch in Ericeira, my goal is always the same: food that’s simple, colorful, and made with care.
Where My Food Comes From
I grew up in Israel, surrounded by home-cooked meals and vibrant local markets. The food was a mix of cultures; Eastern European comfort, Middle Eastern spice, and Mediterranean sunshine. All shaped how I cook today.
Now in Portugal, I source produce from Ram’s organic farm and a trusted local shop that brings in fresh goods from small growers. My seafood comes from local fishermen, and my spices often carry memories from home. I bake my own bread or collaborate with incredible local bakers and farmers who share the same love for simple, honest ingredients.
“Good food begins with good stories.
Mine are always seasoned with
love, curiosity, and a little adventure”
